How to load the roll
Open the paper cover, drop the roll in so the paper feeds out toward the tear bar, and leave a short tail sticking out before you close the lid. The thermal (coated) side must face the print head. If your receipts come out blank, the roll is upside down, so flip it over and try again.
Whichever Verifone model you use, pull a little paper past the tear bar before closing the cover so the first receipt feeds cleanly.

Why does my Verifone print blank receipts?
Usually the roll is in upside down. Thermal paper only prints on the coated side, so turn the roll over so that side faces the print head.
