Moneris Receipt Paper Rolls
Moneris terminals are used by a huge range of Canadian merchants, from corner stores and restaurants to delivery drivers and trades businesses that take payment on site. Over the years Moneris has supplied many different countertop, pin pad and wireless units, so the safest way to buy Moneris receipt paper is to confirm the roll size on the device you actually have. VANTROO supplies BPA-free thermal rolls that suit the common widths used by payment terminals.
Models and roll size
We do not yet have model-by-model compatibility pages for Moneris devices, so we have not listed specific models here. Instead, use one of these simple checks before you order:
- Check the label. Look on the back or underside of the terminal for the model name, then search it in the Receipt Paper Compatibility Finder. Some Moneris units carry the maker's model number, which may already be listed.
- Look at the old roll. The core or the box from your last order often shows the width and length.
- Measure the width. Use a ruler across the face of the paper. About 57mm (2¼″) means you need our standard debit machine paper roll. About 80mm (3⅛″) means you need the wider printer roll.
- Check the diameter. Make sure a full roll fits in the paper bay with the lid closed. Many portable and countertop card terminals take a 50′ length.
Which pack to buy
Most card terminals use 2¼″ paper. If that is what you measured, these packs are the place to start. Pick the 50-pack for a single low-volume terminal, or the 100 or 200 pack if you run several devices or print a lot of receipts.
- 2¼″ × 50′ rolls, 50-pack – $28.99
- 2¼″ × 50′ rolls, 100-pack – $43.99
- 2¼″ × 50′ rolls, 200-pack – $73.99
If your roll measured 3⅛″, choose from these instead:
- 3⅛″ × 230′ rolls, 10-pack – $23.99
- 3⅛″ × 230′ rolls, 20-pack – $45.99
- 3⅛″ × 230′ rolls, 50-pack – $89.99
Every size is also listed in our 2¼″ thermal roll collection.
How to load the roll
Open the paper cover, drop the roll in so the paper feeds out toward the tear bar, and leave a short tail sticking out before you close the lid. The thermal (coated) side must face the print head. If your receipts come out blank, the roll is upside down, so flip it over and try again.
On many wireless terminals the paper cover opens with a latch at the top. Tear off the first few centimetres after loading so the next receipt starts clean.
Frequently asked questions
Which roll width do most Moneris terminals use?
Many payment terminals use 57mm (2¼″) rolls, but models vary. Measure your current roll or check the model label before you order.
My Moneris model is not in the finder. What should I do?
Measure the width of your current paper and match it to the 2¼″ or 3⅛″ packs above. You can also contact us with the model name from the label.
Will a 50′ roll fit my Moneris terminal?
Many compact terminals take a 50′ length. If a roll is too wide across to let the lid shut, it is too long for your paper bay.
Do you ship Moneris receipt paper across Canada?
Yes. We ship from Calgary, Alberta, and shipping is free on all Canada orders with no minimum.
